Diminished Earnings due to Injury

After a motor vehicle accident, you are entitled to income replacement benefits under a standard insurance policy. In general, if you were working when you were involved in the accident, you can receive varying law, income replacement assistance. You can receive up to $400 per week. You may not be able to return to your job and require retraining. At CHAGPAR LAW, we can advocate for your insurance company to consider covering the cost of your retraining program so that you can work towards returning to some quality of life after being trained in a program that will assist you in engaging in a new job. The maximum you can receive, however, is $400 per week. If your inability to work lasts longer than 104 weeks, the maximum decreases to $185 per week.
